4 reasons why #‎Bangladeshi or Bengali are not migrating to Burma or Myanmar, legally or illegally
You have to be so incredibly stupid and/or blinded by your hatred and ignorance about Muslims to believe that Bengaladeshis want to migrate illegally to Rakhine.
Firstly, Rakhine is one of most pauperized states of the pauperised nation of Myanmar.
Second, Rakhine themselves have been out-migrating to greener pastures because their state has no real prospect for employment. (In fact this is consistent with the general pattern of all able ethnic peoples, both males and females, leaving their Buddha-for-saken birthplace to get jobs all over Southeast Asia - Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Brunei, S. Korea, Japan, as well as other more distant destinations.)
Third, Bangladeshi are fully aware that Myanmar's successive military generals have been leading nothing short of a dogged campaign to uproot AND destroy Rohingya community - literally and symbolically via their identity and history - over the last 36 years. (They remember previous in-coming waves of Rohingya - with each wave numbering in a quarter million - fleeing across the border into Bangladesh. This is confirmed by international media reports dating back to Spring 1978, by eye-witness and first-person Rohingya accounts and a secret lecture given by the then chief of military intelligence at the National Defense College in the 1990's After he was sacked in Oct 2004 Khin Nyunt's lecture appeared on-line and has now been printed as part of the compilation of his interviews with a Burmese "journalist" Myat Khaing.)
Fourth, Muslim Bangladeshi do not see Myanmar or Burma as a country where they can improve their life chances, get a good job, or attend good universities in the impoverished, genocidally "Buddhist", and long-oppressed Burma or Myanmar under military regimes for the last half century. (They go to places like Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and other Gulf States, as well as to US, UK, Canada, Japan, etc)
